WekoAgro streamlines machine advertising with WEBMACHINES
Back in late 2022, WekoAgro set out to improve how they managed online listings for their machinery. With WEBMACHINES Advertising integrated into DSM, posting ads became much easier, but something was still missing. In early 2023, they followed up with a full switch to the WEBMACHINES Model Base, and that’s when things really changed.
A smoother way to advertise
Before WEBMACHINES, WekoAgro had to manually upload ads across several platforms and remember to remove them when machines were sold. That created unnecessary workload and the risk of customer confusion.
With WEBMACHINES, everything is handled directly in DSM. Ads are created, managed, and removed automatically when a sales order is registered, saving time and reducing missed updates.
For Jesper Knudsen, service technician and WEBMACHINES lead at WekoAgro, the time savings were immediate.
“We don’t have to do the same work over and over. Now we upload pictures and texts once, and they’re automatically pushed to all the portals we want.”
It has made a big difference to their advertising process and saved them a lot of time, which they can now spend on other tasks.
Time that is especially appreciated during busy seasons.
Clean data, less hassle
With the model base upgrade, WekoAgro gained full control of their product data. While Jesper says the improvements aren’t always visible day to day, they’ve made a real difference.
“We might not think about data quality all the time, but now we control it and our own data follows all the way through.”
He now notices a clear difference when a machine is sold. Previously, he had to manually remove the machine listing when a machine was sold, but not anymore.
With WEBMACHINES, the listings are removed automatically as soon as a sales order is created in the DSM system, which saves time for both Jesper and potential buyers who might otherwise call about machines that are no longer available.
“We really want to avoid, or at least minimise, those mistaken calls where we haven’t taken machines down.”
Real value for the business
Implementing WEBMACHINES has saved WekoAgro both time and frustration.
“The main thing is saving time. Uploading all the specs and pictures used to take forever and we had to do it three times.”
Publishing listings takes one third of the time, as one ad can be pushed to multiple portals with just a few clicks. Now, they advertise about 150 machines across five platforms: Maskinbladet, Mascus, Traktorpool, Agriaffaires, and their own website.
A partnership that works
Jesper also highlights the collaboration with JMA and their consultant Rasmus as a key part of the success.
“We had a really good dialogue. We brought some ideas, they had their input, and together we made it work.”
And would Jesper recommend WEBMACHINES?
“Definitely. Being able to control everything from one place is a huge benefit. We can even choose to target only international channels when needed.”
What is WEBMACHINES?
WEBMACHINES is a DSM module that simplifies online machine advertising. From ad creation to removal, everything is managed in DSM. With the Model Base extension, you gain better control of data, saving time and reducing duplication across platforms.
